“You should only have to pay for the design and implementation of your website once. From there on, it should be infinitely scalable and easily editable – by you.”
That is a pretty radical statement for a web designer to make. So many in the industry charge frequently-recurring fees, squeezing nickels and dimes out of their customers for any (and every) little update or edit. Not here.
We use blogging software to create elegant, scalable, user-manageable websites.
Customized graphics give the sites a presentation that matches the client’s existing corporate identity – or creates one. No “templates” are recycled in the development and design process – every website is unique.
You are in control.
The blogging platform provides the end user – no matter what their level of skill or experience with websites – instant access to their online presence. If you want a new page to appear on your website, you click “Add New Page” and start typing. Yes, it really is that simple.
Example – Pop’s Restaurant in Durham, NC

The owners of this establishment regularly update their homepage with seasonally relevant headlines, menu edits, and other content. In this example, “Fried Okra Hash” is featured for the summer. No specialty experience was needed to make this information appear on the website. John (the site’s owner) simply edited some text, added a little more and clicked “Publish”. The new information appeared on the site instantly. |
The Price is Right
“The simplest website can be created, installed, registered and hosted for one year for as little as $250.”
That is a pretty radical statement for a web designer to make. So many in the industry don’t want to quote a simple all-inclusive price for a website. Doing so would negate the opportunity to add-on charges during the development process. Not here.
The cost of domain name registration and web hosting are known – up front. The time to development can be quantified efficiently. There is no cost for maintenance, because you do as much or as little as you please. The cost you are quoted is the only cost, and it will be a cost you like.
Example – The Sue Forrest Agency, Chapel Hill NC
(click here to see the rest of the site) |
This client regularly creates password-protected pages full of confidential information for her clients.Data and materials go up on the site, are used by her clients, then deleted when no longer needed
The total additional cost for all those temporary pages? Zero. The total additional cost for storing all that additional data? Zero. That’s a cost that’s easy to like, and hard to match. |
Presentation is Everything.
“If you’ve already developed a “look and feel” that you like, you should stick with it. We can customize your website to your current graphic identity.”
That is a pretty radical statement for a web designer to make. Badgering you into paying for additional design charges is the bread-and-butter of many web developers. Some will even claim that your existing graphics “aren’t compatible” with web design, so you must pay “conversion” or “redevelopment” fees. Not here.
There are certain truths about the way people use the web, and we will not lie to you about those expectations. People like a nice headline. People expect to see buttons in a nice orderly line. We’re not trying to re-invent the wheel – we’re trying to find the right wheels for your car.
